Re: .mkv file won't play in LG Blu-ray player BD570
It's always a problem with the player compatibility. The LG blu-ray player model BD570 could support the container MKV but this doesn't means he'll work proprely on every file. I know many player have trouble when a MKV file have more than 1 audiotrack. Try to extract a new .mkv with only one videot...

Re: Quality of MKV not the same as DVD (which shouldn't happ
Also have in mind that mac software build by the fruit company (Quicktimes, ect...) downgrade the quality if your cpu aren't totally idle. (quality drop occur when your cpu is over 50%) Playability over quality. I saw this problem on few laptops who can't handle hi-res movie. (since they don't have ...

Re: Problems playing back MKV files on Samsung BD-D6500 play
Hi ottawaxblade, I have the same setting. Your problem is the speed of your MicroSD. 30 000Mb a movie for around 1h30. This should give you something like 5.555Mb/s+. (+ the re-read ratio since the file is big) Probably your microSD doesn't run at this speed or can't maintain it. Like ryanjk333 said...

Re: How to make MKV for Disney's UP
You should not have any trouble to make UP. You trouble should be find which file is good for you. Just check the lenght of the movie. Since it's a movie animation, Disney and other make 2-3+ version of the movie, they basicly translate "in movie" for the viewer. Example: change the commer...

Re: MakeMKV and stuttering
Your problem seem normal to me. MakeMKV decode the disk but he don't modify the content for optimizer it for your machine... or optimizer it for playback ability. If they're is some variable data rate on the disk, he copy it as IS. Mediaplayer and Mac (most time) aren't great machine for decode vide...

Re: Cost of MakeMKV
@trondmm: I confirm Canada is 50.00 EUR.
50.00 EUR = 66.5710 USD
So you paid $16.57 more if you don't live in USA. Many companies arround the world doing something similar.

I do both. Commentary movie and the movie, no trouble at all with the US version.
Your disk must be a bad disk.

Re: MakeMKV Blu-ray Rips play fine but makemkv's are choppy
I was initially supprised how hard it was to get windows 7 media center to work as a media center. You can't play mkv with media center (with more than one audiotrack). If it's WORK with many audiotrack... it's probably because you have installed the weird divx codec for MKV format. This cause down...

Re: MakeMKV Blu-ray Rips play fine but makemkv's are choppy
I see 4 possibilities for this error. First, TMT... you should try something else.. like MPC-HC. Second, if you play it on the network, you can't play 33.6Mbps on a 100mbps networks (same with external drive). The proplem appear over 20mbps or 13-14mb/s. I recommend reencode it with handbrake at 150...

Re: MakeMkv As a Disk Streaming Service
Great idea but...
This mean you have to enter a BluRay in your pc.
Why you don't just but all movie on a 2tb hd and share it with MCE (this become video on demand)?

Re: MKV and iTunes
You should make this request to iTunes software team.
(or just stop using iTunes.)
The best shoot should be reencode with (handbrake) or unjoin/rejoin to mp4 format.
Good luck

Re: Angles in Tangled?
No. Basicly, MakeMKV or anyway other program doing the exactly same thing... read all the path available on the disk. Paths are a sequence of video... so 1 video could be used in many sequence (this explain with a 4.5gb.. could turn in 32gb+) If the company created several path all using the mostly ...

Hi eNoize, I suppose you stream the contains to a DLNA system. Could you confirm ? Or your player need the source to be a Streaming contains? I already see something like this with Toy Story 3 on a Samsung DLNA. Basicly, the Bluray aren't encode for Streaming. (I think to problem occur when the bitr...

Re: no files will play (Media Player help)
Could be many thing... perhaps you uninstall something required by mistake.. like FFDShow or Haali. You could uninstall CCCP. Remove Configuration during uninstall. And install the lastest version. Don't forget to active Haali (should be active by default). Could require to restart for make haali wo...
