Re: Can SDFtool Flasher recover from read firmware?
Related to the above, is there a way to perform a real and complete dump of the firmware so it can be restored to another device?
A replacement BW-16D1HT is on its way to me and I am wondering if I can grab 3.11 from it and flash the drive I am returning.

Re: Can SDFtool Flasher recover from read firmware?
Before I flashed my drive I read the firmware and created a firmware dump. Can this dump be used to restore the drive to the original firmware? If so, how? When I try the Recover process I am asked for the "bad" firmware then the "good" firmware and it is looking for a bin file ...

Re: Can SDFtool Flasher recover from read firmware?
It's currently in an external case but I believe it was July 2023 or so.

Re: Was in love with product UNTIL!!!!
I have seen this before so when it happened I used mkvmerge to set the proper aspect ration.

Re: Am I missing Closed Captions with 2.6.3 ??
It looks like many older DVDs are using CC only which is a pain. I purchased few sets of older British comedy series recently when Amazon had their royal wedding sale and these have only CC. I am using Linux so I ended up using ccextractor to extract the CC into one large srt and then Gaupol Subtitl...

Re: When will the beta end?
I just bought a license. I know I can continue using the beta keys but Mike has to see return for his efforts AND he is supporting Linux so I felt I have to support him back.

Thanks Mike for your response. Any plans on adding Line 21 (aka CC) support?

What kind of subtitles are invisible to MakeMKV?
I may have not noticed it before but I recently realized that not all subtitles are visible to MakeMKV. What I am seeing are subtitles that I can select in VLC when I watch the DVD but when I try to create the MKV file that subtitle does not appear in the expanded tree and when I rip to MKV and play...

Re: Issue with Plants episode on BBC Life Blu-Ray Disk 4
I think I figures out the problem why this is the only episode having this problem. Apparently it is the only VC-1 interlaced episode (1080i) while all the others are 1080p. I now need to figure out a way to convert the video to something that is playable on XBMC (or VLC). Any suggestions? mediainfo...

Issue with Plants episode on BBC Life Blu-Ray Disk 4
I am in process of ripping all my Blu-Ray disks into MKS so I can view them from XBMC. After ripping I use VLC to make sure that the rip displays properly. I had no issue with ripping most episodes of BBC Life except for one. When playing back the ripped-to-MKV episode called Plants on disk 4 I hear...
