My understanding is usually when you play DVDs, you skip over any problematic sections. Is there some reason why it would be overly onerous to implement this behavior for makeMKV? So, I have been recording a full collection of deepspace 9 DVDs, and I regularly get this error message popping up: "It appears that you are opening the disc processed by DvdFab/MacTheRipper which is known to produce damaged VOB files. Errors may follow - please use original disc instead."...
