I've got this on order, I live in the states so I'm importing it.

Cannot say - have not tried any 4K disks recently. And it only checks to see if there is a key when you ask MakeMKV to decode a 4K disk.

What will definitely happen (assuming you have automatic downloads enabled) is that, once the system is updated, MakeMKV will download the key from the server ...

Double Indemnity 4K (Criterion Collection) is out today (May 31st - 2022) and MKV says "Failed to open disc"

I have the Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD 4K drive, and this thing has no issues reading discs, it's great, but this one just cannot read.
