In case it helps someone, I used the default windows method on Windows 10 installed on my Mac as dual-boot with Boot Camp. Just in case someone has a Mac but not a second Windows machine.

I guarantee that’s the issue. I had errors with the GUI tool because I thought I had to flash to the downgrade enabled DE firmware for my drive, but that was not required. I just flashed directly to the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.03-NM00000-211810241934 with the default enc option in the GUI tool, and i...

I'm about to flash my new Archgon. Any advice about what BU40N version I should flash to? I'm on 1.02 right now; should I aim for HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.03-NM00000-211810241934.bin?
