Both pioneer jp and Powerdvd decline to provide Eng version.

Appreciate if anyone can advise.

Whenever i start MakeMkv, makemkvcon64.exe (or makemkvcon.exe) keep crashing.
Affect v1.17 to v1.17.2.
Only v1.16.7 works fine.

I'm using Win7 x64.
Does MakeMkv required Java (86x or 64x) ?
Any minimum version that needs to install ?

Hello Guys, I have been trying to install both v1.17 & v1.17.1. Whenever i start MakeMkv, the program will immediately crashed with the below window. I am using WIn7 x64, Tried closing my Comodo Firewall, same result. Restore my OS to a relatively "clean copy", same result. Only v1.16....

Encounter the same "Failed to install CdRom Device Arbiter Service" twice when i try to install v1.17.

On my 3rd attempts , no error occur during installation.
But when i start the application, encounter makemkvcon64.exe crashed.

Using Win7 SP1 x64.

Just to add-on, Those Main Backups (without Menu), When "Play by Disc", the Subtitles works as expected on VLC or PowerDvd. Would be quite 'rare' to have both DvdFab & CloneBD causing the same issue. This Subtitle issue also affect 4K Bluray. So the common denominator seems to be MakeM...

Hello, My backups was done long ago before i knew of MakeMKV. I believe the Mains Backup are mostly rip using DvdFab6~8 or CloneBD (for the more recent one). I verified both backups will leads to the same issue, regardless if created by DvdFab or CloneBD Curious to know exactyly where is the problem...

Your Pioneer BDR-XD08U isn't on the list of supported Pioneer drives. https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=27378 I see in that thread you found Blackened2687 who was looking for a memory dump from your drive. I think Mike, MakeMKV's author, will need the same or a similar thing ...

Hello Guys, I just purchased my first 4K capable Pioneer BDR-XD08MB-S from Amazon-Jpn, and also my first 4K+Bluray movie (Mulan 2020) from Amazon-US.
