For me it works,

I ripped the Red Tails Blu Ray and then created a .mkv file, it has following audio streams,

48 kHz, 24 bits, 8 channels, DTS-HD MasterAudio
48 kHz, 24 bits, 6 channels, DTS
48 kHz, 24 bits, 6 channels, PCM (little/signed)

during converting the rip to mkv, you must select all ...
