My patched BU40N isn't reading DVDs, producing a loud screeching noise instead. No sign of damage on the DVDs. Blu-Rays screech but read fine, and BDXLs can read with no effort at all.

CDs play fine, as well.

I was able to successfully flash 3.10MK to the drive with the SDFtool Flasher.

Just wondering, what's the difference between 3.10MK and WH16NS60 1.02, despite WH16NS60 being a cross-flash?
