Re: Is there a simple way to view the content of PGS subtitles?
I'm looking for something that can split a dual line subtitle file with chinese and english in one pgs. Often with films from china they include chinese and english subs so that they're shown at the same time.. I'd like to be able to just extract the english portion of the subtitle. I don't think su...

The TV speakers really do have good bass to it.
It seemed like the last track was the loudest and fullest on the tv speakers. Makes sense.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Ok, and FLAC doesn't work with DV MP4's? Does it have undesirable results perhaps and EAC3 is just the better or best option?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Would there be a benefit to doing a TrueHD to DTS-HD MA conversion in that case vs EAC3?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Which workflows would be best to convert this mkv to mp4 for C9 playback? I'd like to keep audio highest quality possible. I know that LG C9 has issues playing TrueHD.. Eac3 doesn't always sound the best, and the pcm conversion does? Is that right? Should I change this to DT DL P7? Or perhaps single...

Cheapest drive to rip UHD discs out of the box?
Is there a super cheap drive I can find in used condition that works out of the box to rip UHD discs perhaps in the US?

Re: Recent discs are split with multiple M2TS.
Blu-rays (including UHDs) support seamless branching . As such, it is relatively common for a single title (aka .mpls) to be comprised of multiple .m2ts files. Are you trying to understand seamless branching or are you asking a different question? How do I extract subs from these types of discs if ...

Recent discs are split with multiple M2TS.
I am having an issue extracting subtitles from a disc, from a multiple M2TS release. It also seems like this is not the only one recently that has been made like this. This does seem new, so some insight into that is appreciated. I know I can use the mpls to extract, but this is new in that I cannot...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Hey I have that too with p5 or p8 mp4. You can just drag and drop the file into mkvtoolnix and remux to mkv. It will play without stutters and the dolby vision will be kept. I usually playback those with just Player or vimu. Mkv work a lot better than mp4 TVs dont support DV MKVs. [/quote] Where do...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I have remuxed an HEVC with ac3 to make a dv mp4 but it is stuttering on my C9.. Playing through USB port and flagged as Dolby Vision no problem, no pink video, but just extremely choppy. Stop and start. Audio is in sync too with it.. What could be some problems that have caused this? I've never ha...
