Thank you and well done. Version 1.66 works!mike admin wrote:The next version will add a workaround for a confirmed bug in JMicron-based USB-SATA bridge chipsets. Your enclosure seem to use this chipset. As for the drive, after riplock is removed with mediaspeededit, this drive is of the best drives around.

Re: Unable to rip Blu-ray's with LG BH10LS30
The first 3 messages, you can't get them in 1.6.5 - the bug was fixed. Is it correct? For the rest, please update DASPI to 1.2 and see if it changes anything. I have installed DASPI 1.2. I inserted a bluray disc and waited for it to appear in the finder before starting makemkv. Makemkv failed to op...

Re: Unable to rip Blu-ray's with LG BH10LS30
Thanks for posting the log, the error is new. Please try the following: with MakeMKV not running, insert a BD disc into drive. Only after disc shows up on desktop, launch MakeMKV and see if anything changes. The first time I did that, the log was slightly different (line 5 is new). Debug log starte...

Re: Unable to rip Blu-ray's with LG BH10LS30
A generic drive SCSI error. It might[/b] the problem with enclosure. The next program version is very likely to correct this problem. I have just installed v1.6.4 and unfortunately I still can't rip Blu-rays. Debug log started at Sat Feb 5 11:02:52 2011 , written by MakeMKV v1.6.4 darwin(x86-releas...

Have you installed the drive internally or are you using it externally (if so how)?leenuss wrote:I have ripped 6 Blurays so far using my LG BH10LS30 on OS X Snow Leopard.
No problems. MakeMKV is the only software able to rip all bluray discs on my Mac, other ripping softwares will fail on some discs.

Re: Unable to rip Blu-ray's with LG BH10LS30
Thanks for the quick response. Is there a planned release timeframe for the next version? Is there a stable nightly build that I could try?

Unable to rip Blu-ray's with LG BH10LS30
Hi there I can rip DVD's fine, but have tried 3 blu-ray's and they all failed to open with very similar errors.
