Trying to get the script to work in ubuntu with wine,which seems like it launches etc. but it prepressed some buttons it seems every time i start it even though i havent pressed any yet
anyone has experience in running this in ubuntu?

@gacopl I had no time to run your tool, so maybe you can answer me here. Does your scrip create MP4 that is hybrid format? I mean, DV+HDR10 compatible, so devices with no DV support will still run HDR10? Thanks.


It depends what is input if input is DV7 or DV8 then yes output is DV8.1 hdr10 ...

This is for linux not windows it's meant to be put on your mediaserver/NAS whatever, follow the steps from README to install all needed stuff
You can also run it in virtual machine with linux

@gacopl would it be possible for you to make this script for windows powershell/cmd? I was looking for just that, as I use plex on LG B1/C1 and other devices, so AC3/EAC3 is a must for direct stream with subtitles (LG).
