I encountered the same error with my drive. Following this to see if swapping ports is what I need to do. I've done countless DVDs and Blu-rays with no issue whatsoever, and now I'm getting the same errors described in this thread. However, my BD-RE BP50NB40 has LibreDrive enabled (as of yesterday)....
