The newly-released 4K UHD of "Drive" (2011) - published by Second Sight - cannot be decrypted in the latest version of MakeMKV.

I've submitted a dump file to svq@makemkv.com

I thought MakeMKV uses LibreDrive to ignore the encryption?

I tried backing it up, and it had read errors on flawless new disc. It says 32GB. Playing it and it seems fine so far.

Even after cleaning the disc, it still won't rip.

I just ripped Turning Red (Best Buy steelbook version, might be different disc than yours) and it worked.

First Cinderella Blu-ray, now Star Wars Phantom Menace UHD Blu-ray. Using LG WH6NS60 drive 1.00 firmware. I have 2 drives it happens in both. Also happens in DVDFab. I literally just opened the discs.

Approved software is Cyberdrive PowerDVD. Unfortunately, due to changes in Intel processors, the newest versions of PowerDVD won't even do that. The firmware in Pioneer drives will prevent reading UHD disks without that (older version) software. And that software won't allow saving what is read to ...

Does Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD work with MakeMKV and DVDFab out of the box? Does MakeMKV need to be installed for it to work? Thanks

Is there any downside to downgrading all the way to 1.00? I want to be able to use my LG WH16NS60 in DVDFab for ripping my UHD discs to ISO. Anyone have a link to 1.00 firmware?

You're correct, 1.02 doesn't work with DVDFab. I just tried it. I will downgrade to 1.00.
