Interesting. It's the same on my Hackintosh with both the Mac version of MakeMKV and the competing Mac software too (Blu Ray Ripper Pro, which doesn't show the speed but it's obvious from the ETA that it's doing the same). 2.8x-3.2x for ROMs, and about 3.6x pre decrypted BD-Rs (re-ripping a copy).
