Re: SDFtool Flasher
@MartyMcNuts, The older model for, Slim LG-BP50NB40 with SVC CODE: NB40 Manufactured 2019, are the steps/firmware same as the newer Slim LG-BP50NB40 SVC CODE: NB52 model? If not, can you tell me the correct steps, or just the firmware I need for LG-BP50NB40 SVC CODE: NB40 Is there any differences be...

Re: BDMV encrypted question
The ISO you should make will have 3 folders in the root directory. AACS, BDMV and CERTIFICATE. Use Imgburn for that. Then open that ISO with Makemkv. That should work unless that movie is not yet supported by Makemkv and it will create a file that you would have to send to svq@makemkv.com. You didn...

Re: BDMV encrypted question
I believe that having the encrypted BDMV folder by itself is useless. I'm certainly no expert but, I'm pretty sure that MakeMKV needs the full disc image (especially including the AACS folder) to decrypt a disc. If the disc HAD been decrypted during the backup process then yes, the BDMV folder has ...

BDMV encrypted question
Is there a way to read normal standard Blu-ray BDMV that hasn't been decrypted through Backup? I got a BDMV that is encrypted, when I load it on MakeMKV through index.bdmv, or make an ISO, it says, it cannot load, (Blu-ray Error, This Disc seems to be encrypted) I no longer have the original Blu-ray...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
This is really out of hand here at this point just buy an automated flasher from Marty or me. Or a preflashed drive no need to do this nonsense and be annoying to the guide creators and flashing tools. Probably 100,000+ people have done this with this guide There is nothing wrong with either The gu...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Buzzlite1926, The guide is confusing at first when I tried to do it, but I think I understand what part you're confused in, as I read in other post others users was confused to, Here are the instruction that is very simple anyone can understand, even though the steps in the guide is actually perfect...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
This is why you shouldn't use the hybrid firmware. I just remembered, there should be 2 HBD firmware files. One gets you to BP60NB10 1.00 MK which you have already done. The other should get the drive back to BP50NB40 firmware. You must flash that one first. Then see if you can flash it to BP50NB40...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
If it still says BP60NB10 then you didn't do it right. I did exactly follow your steps, but it didn't change to BU40N 1.00 when I checked in MakeMKV, also I tried flash to > DE_LG_BP50NB40-NB50_1.03_MK.bin than RECOVER, picked DE_LG_BP50NB40-NB50_1.03_MK.bin than Choose box below DE_LG_BU40N_1.00.b...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
If you want to use the BU40N 1.00 firmware, since you are already on BP60NB10 1.00 HBD, you can simply: 1. Using SDFtool Flasher, select your drive. 2. Select recovery. In the popup window, select the BP60NB10 1.00 HBD firmware that is currently on the drive. 3. Select the BU40N 1.00 firmware in th...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
I don't know about Billy's "All you need firmware pack" but it is in mine! DL link on first page of this thread. BU40N 1.00 is better than BP60NB10 firmware as it is compatible with all popular ripping software. BP60NB10 firmware only works with MakeMKV and AnyDVD software. Oh I see, I do...
