It will show up in device manager if it isn't then something is not right, at a guess I would say it's faulty or on its way out. In device manager click on scan for new hardware, but it should automatically pick it up. yeah, it is listed in device manager. I had seen on another section in here that...
Re: UHD FAQ
Have you got any CDs to try load one up and see if it plays ok, just to see if its Windows playing up. You could also try safe mode. I'll have to check that out. Also, I have seen that ASUS is supposed to be under System Devices. Have you noticed if your writer is located in there? It will show up ...

Got a better understanding now. Thanks so much :) Since the recent upgrade of makeMKV, it hasn't been reading my discs. I sent the drive info to Billy and he said everything looked fine to him but still won't recognize it. In windows explorer when I put a blu-ray in, it lists the title but not for ...

All current host keys are revoked in MKB v82. But with LibreDrive, we don't care. We only care about device and processing keys I...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT MT939
Hi all, I have an Asus BW-16D1HT that I purchased circa 2013 and am wanting to rip UHD content. Re: If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first!
There is a serious problem with the zero fault tolerance of MKV - I'm on version 1.18.1 for Mac. The application used to have a 90% success rate with BluRay discs. Now it's at best 10%. A 2 hour movie has some 86,400 frames and I think we can honestly live with a few faulty frames but MKV seems to ...
