Thanks so much! I was having issues with my flashing my drive in Linux as well until I found this thread.
For those that may need this help, I ran the following as above and was able to downgrade my 1.05 drive to 1.02 using:
./makemkvcon f --all-yes -d drivename -f /path/to/sdf.bin rawflash enc ...
