Re: Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Again?)

Welcome newcomers! The proper procedure is to: - email the dumpfile to svq@makemkv.com - post the file name to the release specific topic (if the 4 char hex value embedded in the filename is the same as yours, it's less necessary to submit the dump again YMMV) Suggested reading: UHD FAQ Done, email...

Re: Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Again?)

(Link Removed)

Gdrive link to the TGZ file as apparently the forum won't let me attach.

Re: Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Again?)

Same issue here. Just got the disc delivered today and I'm getting a decryption error. I tried to attach my TGZ dump file but getting an error message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." Oh damn, I think that happened to me too, because there's no attachment on the post....

Re: Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Again?)

Have you tried installing the latest KEYDB.cfg while you wait for MakeMKV's processing queue to run? Does either of these disks match yours? 0x219AC6B4856D7A201DC7B59107E94A4C57BE6B51 = GHOSTBUSTERS_FROZEN_EMPIRE | D | 2024-05-01 0x1EC4608A69768A549C3F45DA8CAD8BACFA23CA3D = GHOSTBUSTERS_FROZEN_EMPI...

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Again?)

I see someone already submitted this, I see no issues in my logfile about updating the HK data, I tried toing so manually. Thinking I have a slightly different SKU maybe? Either way here's the TGZ, please let me know if this is the same as the previous post and if it's something wrong on my end. ' E...

Re: Bricked an old LG WH14NS40

I have a flasher that can get you half there to reenable dos flash because the new firmware disables it I saw some stuff on DOSFlasher, that's clearly step one, thankfully I have my share of older PCs around here I can use to do that once I pull the drive out of my Ryzen system. (I ordered a WH16NS...

Undoubtedly, your WH14NS40 from 2010 doesn't satisfy those import requirements.

Drives manufactured before 2015 can not rip UHDs.
Well now, I def messed that up then.

I should be able to recover this drive to it's original operation at least, right?

Bricked an old LG WH14NS40

I've done a lot of Googling so I've seen my share of threads on this topic but for a range of options. As some back story, this started with me flashing one of my two BU40Ns to rip UHD discs and that worked easily. My main system however uses a WH14NS40 purchased in 2010 which I also wanted to rip U...
