Re: v1.14.1 - Super long initial read/indexing
I just installed 1.14.1 last night and encoded Incredibles 2 for the 800 version (to2?) and had no problem. After all of these comments I was expecting it to fail but it didn't and didn't take any longer than usual.

Re: Iron Giant - Blu Ray won't read
Just so that anyone who was following this knows, I got the new Pioneed drive today and it read both titles no problem. So the LaCie gets retired today.

Re: Iron Giant - Blu Ray won't read
I am going to get another/newer drive and see if it will work with MakeMKV to rip these titles. If so I'll retire the other drive. If not I'll return the disks to Amazon for replacement (and the drive).

Re: Iron Giant - Blu Ray won't read
As a sanity check I dropped the 2 (Disney) blu-rays into my 2 blu-ray players (one Sony, one Panasonic, the latter being the newer model). They both played no problem. So it isn't the disks, and it isn't my LaCie drive, what is it? Is it possible that the drivers on the LaCie are just too old to rea...

Re: Iron Giant - Blu Ray won't read
I just loaded my copy of Star Wars, The Force Awakens and it read just fine into MakeMKV. So it isn't the drive or the software. It 'might' be the disks. Unusual that 2 different disks would not load, but I am sure that I can get replacements from Amazon. Do others ever get unreadable disks they hav...

Re: Iron Giant - Blu Ray won't read
My version of MakeMKV can see the drive, and knows everything about it, including the firmware version. So does my iMac. These 2 titles that I got (Iron Giant and the original version of Tron) are the first blu-ray disks I have had a problem with and I have ripped about 100 blu-ray movies to MakeMKV...

Iron Giant - Blu Ray won't read
I just got my new blu ray version of The Iron Giant from Amazon. Popped it into my faithful blu ray drive and it got ejected after several tries at reading. I pulled it out, looked it over, downloaded and installed the latest MakeMKV version, and retried. Same result. Anyone else having issues?

Re: Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 Correct Playlist
Now I feel particularly dumb. Well, thank you for explaining that. For those who want a good grin I manually unselected all of those titles Since there is loads of empty real estate on the MakeMKV user interface, I think that having a button to select or unselect all wouldn't be so unreasonable.

Re: Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 Correct Playlist
I just got mine from Amazon and ran it up with the newest MakeMKV and it is showing [possibly] hundreds of titles, all with 16 chapters and 24.1 GB and 20 segments. There is one, 00420.mpls, with 16 chapters and 21 segments at 2:03:50, and many that are much smaller. So I'll convert 420.mpls and see...

Re: The Big Bang Theory Season 7
I was unable to upload files (got an error that the board quota was full), but here is the log file from my encoding run: Debug log started at Sat Sep 27 17:35:15 2014 , written by MakeMKV v1.8.13 darwin(x86-release) Using 524544KB for read cache. 001005:0000 MakeMKV v1.8.13 darwin(x86-release) star...

The Big Bang Theory Season 7
I received The Big Bang Theory, Season 7 from Amazon last week. I went to encode it like I always do and found that there were only 8 episodes on each of the 2 disks. I encoded them anyway and put them on my DROBO. Amazon was only too happy to send out another set, which I received today. Same probl...

Re: Ender's Game Bluray
You cannot skip through the movie and see the error. In MakeMKV I had many segments that had the same number of chapters so, stupidly, I encoded the first one (Ender's_Game_t01.mkv). When I watched it, there were two times when scenes were jumbled so that the order was incorrect. The first one is wh...

Re: Total Recall 2012 Fails to read either disk
I 'thought' that I had version 1.7.9, but it turns out that I actually had 1.7.7. Updating to 1.7.9 resolved my problem as well. Case closed.

Re: Total Recall 2012 Fails to read either disk
I see. You meant to say that the .inf file is in the AACS directory 'on' the Total Recall disk. You didn't say that it had to be zipped when I sent it. There is one for each disk that failed. I sent both, zipped, in the same email.

Re: Total Recall 2012 Fails to read either disk
In searching my file system (OS X 10.8.2) I cannot find either an AACS directory or a file named MKB_RO.inf. I'll keep looking but perhaps a full path would be helpful? There doesn't appear to be a folder/directory for MakeMKV in the Library/ApplicationSupport directory, so I am wondering where Make...
