I bought the key for makemkv to support the software development it is well worth it to me
due to the fact i use this program so much. I have burnt up 2 drive's from over use lol. I have Ripped 257 4k movies,32 Blu-Ray TV series,30 Blu-Ray movies and 20 DVD TV Series.

I have a Pioneer Electronics BDR-XS07UHD portable drive but it has 1.03 firmware on it so i cant rip 4k movies till the have a patch for the drive
so my question is i need 2 portable UHD compatible drives that just work what is a good recommended drive thanks for any help

I am thinking of getting 2 of these LG Electronics BP60NB10 drives are they good drives for ripping UHD disc
or should i get another type

I have a PIONEER BD-RW BDR-XS07U Revision: 1.03 but can rip UHD's till there is a friendly patch to fix it

then i joined the 2 parts together into 1 movie

Just to let people know that the Pioneer BD-RW BDR-XS07U FW Revision 1.03 Will Rip Regular Blu-Ray and DVD disc Just not 4K UHD Disc
Just at Slower speeds up to 2.0 8 mbps. The drive will not rip 4K UHD disc due to LibreDrive not enabled
