Re: command line, audio track not included when using v1.7.0
Since v1.7.0 changed the way that default tracks are selected in the GUI, I wonder if there were also changes made with the command line behavior.

Re: failed to open ripped Blu-ray file at 1.7.0
Try ripping the disc directly with MakeMKV, and see if it works or gives an error.

Re: Program reads data faster than it can write to disk
It is good to know in some situations, where the user might be able to do something about it. Although I would rather MakeMKV just displayed the burst read and write rates in the "Information" section, rather than just the average Read rate that it displays now. Then the message would not ...

Re: +forced with 1.7.0
Just remove "+forced" as "+favlang" selects both forced and non-forced items. -all,+favlang,+nolang,-havemulti,-havecore How do we select ONLY the "lang (forced only)" subtitle track for a specific language? In other words, if I don't want subtitles at all, except for ...

Re: Profiles settings discussion
I have started using this: -all,+favlang,+nolang,-havemulti,-havelossless,+core for my track selection criteria. It gives me the lossless audio track(s) in my favorite language (or no language), including the core audio, but none of the lossy audio tracks, unless there is no lossless track in which ...

version 1.7.0 crashes upon ejecting a disc
Since I upgraded to version 1.7.0, I have been getting a lot of crashes when I eject a disc. After ripping has completed successfully ("1 titles saved") and I click OK, then I manually eject the disc from the drive (by pressing the button on the drive itself), MakeMKV pops up a dialog with...

Re: Profiles settings discussion
I think you should use the template from the other thread - the name tag looks important to me and is different in the template. I changed the ":5086" to "myprofile" and it eliminated the error message I had been getting on start up, so I think I am okay now. By the way, in case...

Profiles settings discussion
Here is my first attempt at making some (small) changes to the profile. My goal was to make the behavior the same as previous makemkv default behavior, with one change: I want HD-audio tracks to be selected (so I removed "-havecore"). Questions: 1) Do I need to change the ":5086"...

Re: What BR drive should I buy?
Those LG drives have riplock, but some models can have riplock disabled with MediaCodeSpeedEdit. The BH12LS38 (which I think is the retail-box version of the WH12LS38) is on MCSE's supported list.

+forced with 1.7.0
I notice that the default behavior has changed to select ALL forced subtitle tracks, regardless of language. With previous versions, it would only select forced tracks of the favorite language(s). How can I change the profile to only select forced subtitles in the favorite language? Something like +...

Re: Cost of MakeMKV
Wrong again. The price is $50 USD. For anyone.trondmm wrote: Only for American users.
Now, if you pay in Euros, the price may be XX Euros. But the price is still $50 USD.
The OP is wrong. You are wrong. It is absurd to quote the Euro price converted to USD when there is already a USD price.

Re: Cost of MakeMKV
The price is 50 euros so that is about $70. The OP is right on the price. No, the OP is wrong. The price is $50 USD. No. It depends on where you live. No, it does not. The price is $50 USD if you pay in dollars. The Euro price CONVERTED TO USD may be different, but as I already said, it is ridiculo...

Just insert the original bluray disc and use MakeMKV directly.
