Any ideas on this problem? I've downloaded v1.4.1 and still having the same issue. Also, I was unable to convert the movie Signs. This is a standard DVD, not HD. I can't remember what the error was but I can get it for you when I get home. Also, just so you know, I'm using makemkv against files stor...

makemkv hangs when starting up

When I start makemkv, I see scanning device: SPT1\:Device\CdRom0 under information but that's all. It never goes any further and all the options under File are grayed out. I saw some other posts talking about a problem with having SATA set to AHCI but I"ve verified in BIOS that it is set to IDE...
