Re: 3D MVC Option
Yeah, that is what I assumed as well. Frame packed. Just not seeing anything related to it in the players settings.

Re: 3D MVC Option
That is awesome news! I've downloaded the player and but am unable to get it to work with any of the mkv's I have made of 3d blu-rays. Has anyone else had any luck? Not 100% sure what I need to set the viewing method to in the player. My setup is two Nvidia 560's in SLI, I've enabled 3D in the Nvidi...

Re: 3D MVC Option
I use XBMC on my HTPC, and then just use Powerdvd 12 as a external player. I haven't had any issues with this yet, and it plays these mkv's in 3d perfectly. Excellent, this is what I was hoping for before I spent the $$ on purchasing it. So you are strictly creating the MKV with the 3D stream from ...

Re: 3D MVC Option
I'm trying to find a suitable player for 3d as well. I've tried total media theater 5 but it only plays in 2d. I have read that PowerDVD will play them but I am over my trial period so I can not test it.

Re: 3D MVC Option
Mike,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, the Avatar disc I have is a 3D disc. There is a SSIF folder and it contains 3 .ssif files:
00001.ssif
00005.ssif
00091.ssif
Please let me know if you need me to check out anything else.

Re: 3D MVC Option
Strange. Neither one of the Mpeg4 streams on Avatar indicate MVC-3D. I will try another 3D disk and see if it indicates MVC-3D. edit: Just tried tron legacy 3D and you are right, 3D MVC does show as an option. I guess avatar must be a special case where the 3D stream does not show up for extraction.

3D MVC Option
Great job on the new version's ability to extract 3D MVC! I have been waiting on this feature. One question, is it automatically extracted or do I need to select a specific option? I was reading through an older thread and read the ability to extract the 3d would be a separate option, but I do not s...

Re: Reign of Fire
Thanks for the reply. I tried a full disk backup and yes it was getting hash errors. It eventually said there were too many errors and exited. I will run the backup again and post the log.

Re: Reign of Fire
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am having problems with this disc. I have tried two discs and both discs fail to convert. I'm running Makemkv version 1.6.8 on a Mac. The error output is below: The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00019.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 775022592, attempting to wo...

Scott Pilgim and The Fifth Element
I am having problems converting both Scott Pilgrim VS the World and The Fifth Element blu-rays. I am only trying to convert the main title of each, and am getting the following error: The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00010.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 5492097024, attempting to work around The ...
