That is unfortunate, but thank you for all the help!MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 10:13 pmNo it is not because of your firmware version. It will be because your original firmware is for NB40. I'm afraid you might be s**t out of luck on this one.

Re: steps to reflash?
I was hoping that if you could get BP50NB40_1.01-MK onto it, you could then try the recover option again, selecting the BP50NB40_1.01-MK as the incorrect file, then select your original firmware bin file in the drop box. Yeah, unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case. I've tried to Recover...

Modify my firmware image to allow for downgrading - BP50NB40, SVC Code NB40, FW 1.00
I recently came into possession of an old LG BP50NB40 , I was excited when I saw in the main UHD Drive flashing thread that it could be cross-flashed to support UHD drives (or so I thought), I didn't realize that my service code of NB40 makes it incompatible with UHD drives, as per this thread . Re: SDFtool Flasher
Hello! I acquired a BP50NB40 that's been sitting in someone's closet for a while, and long story short, I didn't realize it was an older revision. It has the SVC code NB40 , not NB50 . So despite the fact that it was on 1.00 firmware (which I did dump before doing anything, and I have that file stil...
