I also just got a new pioneer bdr-206 and it's ripping at max 2X, did you find a way to unlock the drive? According to my searches, the previous version bdr-205 didn't have a riplock, I'm disappointed to find that it's not the case with bdr-206. I use Linux but I could boot in Windows if needed to u...
