Here I used MakeMKV on an ISO created with AnyDVD. Speed is very fast.

mike: I tried ripping with each of your suggestions. There wasn't any notable different between any of them. It bounce around the 2.3x to 2.4x speed. I'm running on 64-bit Windows. I'm still trying to verify the BDR-206 doesn't have a rip-lock firmware, I'll post back when I know more. I'm going to ...

Read Rate or Rip Speed
MakeMKV seems to max out the read rate around 2X. I've tested this with an LG GGC-H20L and a Pioneer BDR-206. I'm testing on a fairly quick system (i7-950 & 6GB of RAM). Below I'm testing showing stats from the Pioneer drive which I'm almost certain isn't ripped locked. Around the two minute mar...
