Re: concerned about file integrity
Streaming via Plex on my iPhone 13, the first time it got to the spot, the screen flashed white. After that, it would show a similar glitch but it was different than what happens on my PC. Still glitches near her face, but just a different pattern. Pretty sure it's transcoding on the server when str...

Re: concerned about file integrity
By the way this is happening with Aladdin (2019) at 29:35 right as she says "cat" and Jasmine turns her head, her face shows significant glitching. Does this happen for anyone else?

Re: concerned about file integrity
It does the same thing playing from a local drive, playing the file with VLC. So what does that mean? I guess I check the disc next and if the problem is on the disc then my collection is safe. If the problem isn't on the disc then I may have errors in all my mkv's?

Re: concerned about file integrity
Well, it's streaming the file from the NAS with a 2.5Gb lan connection, so I don't think it's bandwidth. But I can copy to local to be sure. It is the same glitch in the same spot every time regardless if I play with Plex or VLC.

concerned about file integrity
So I've been busy ripping my collection. I have about 700 discs on my NAS now. I haven't watched too many of them yet. I watched one the other day and noticed there is some glitches in the video. I thought maybe it's just my monitor, or hdcp issues, or hdmi issues, or something like that, so I didn'...

I contacted all the studios. We'll see who responds and is willing to replace the discs.

How do I get a replacement for damaged discs?
So I ripped my collection of about 600 movies, and ended up with about 10 that wouldn't rip because of scratches or otherwise damaged discs. How should I go about getting replacements?

Re: Help flashing WH16NS60
Manual says:
2 SATA 6Gb/s ports (SATA1~2) by Intel® Z68
2 SATA 6Gb/s ports (SATA7~8) by Marvell® 9128 (Z68A-GD65 (G3))
4 SATA 3Gb/s ports (SATA3~6) by Intel® Z68
The two cables I swapped were in ports 2 and 8. Sorry but I can't remember which one worked and which didn't.

Re: Help flashing WH16NS60
ok great so it was the sata controller what board and port was it on and whats the sata controller? Oh boy, I'd have to do some digging on this. Both ports are on the motherboard in the same location with all the other SATA ports. I'd have to dig deeper to figure out if my motherboard actually has ...
