Not only that, but this is the second time the OP has created a duplicate thread for this title:

Re: My favourite 5 video tools
I can hardly believe that no one has mentioned MediaInfo, which would have to be one of the most useful programs out there when it comes to diagnosing problems.

It would be most helpful if everyone could please use the search function to see whether anyone else has created a thread already before posting.
Perhaps one of the mods could merge the two threads?

Re: Can't decrypted Kung Fu Panda 4
I just did a decrypted backup of the 2-disc "COLLECTOR'S EDITION" (UltraHD + Blu-ray). Inserted the disc, MakeMKV downloaded the latest HK, and off it went.
File name for this disc was MKB20_v77_KUNG_FU_PANDA_4_3594.tgz (not submitted, obviously)!

Re: Can't get rid of the "Trivia" notes
MakeMKV hides second (and subsequent) video tracks and there is no way, to the best of my knowledge (as of v1.17.6), to make it display them. Have a search around this forum for "Picture-In-Picture tracks" as the subject has been discussed at length, including a work-around using MKVToolNix.

Re: MPEG2 Aspect Ratio
~ I JUST ripped the Shout Factory 2019 Blu-ray of Galaxy of Terror. The extras that were encoded in MPEG2 came out at 1080x1080. ~ I have that exact same release, but I can't look up my notes on it as I've been playing musical hard drives in my NAS and the drive it's on isn't mounted at the moment....

Re: back to the future trilogy 4k
And is the problem consistent, IE. does the same thing happen at the same place in each movie every time? (Just trying to establish whether it may be the player or the file at fault?) I have this UltraHD trilogy in my (seemingly endless) 'to-do' list so, if you're unable to solve the problem, and ca...

Re: MPEG2 Aspect Ratio
I note down the MediaInfo of every file I rip and there are absolutely tons of Mpeg2 files on Blu-ray, mostly for Special Features, but occasionally for Main Titles. As an example, the first set of notes I happened to lay my hands on were for the UK Blu-ray version of Spider-Man 1 (UK-32161-BD-DLX) ...

Re: Super slooooooooooowwwww site
It's been good for six weeks but up to its old tricks again today... I'm getting heaps of Error code 522's (Connection timed out) and Cloudflare says it's a Host problem, as before. Doesn't seem to be especially busy... In total there are 125 users online :: 7 registered, 0 hidden and 118 guests (ba...

Re: Possible to rip tywo versions of the same movie with one MKV file aka seamless branching
Don't quote me on this but... It was something like adding all the individual segments (.m2ts files) into MKVToolNix from a decrypted backup, then creating a chapter edition for each edition of the movie, and linking each chapter to a particular segment via the UID. Except I recall it was a little m...

Re: Possible to rip tywo versions of the same movie with one MKV file aka seamless branching
I believe it's possible to do seamless branching within a Matroska file using chapter editions. Somebody here was talking about it not so long ago but I can't seem to find the thread now. From memory it was reasonably complicated to set-up though. The problem you may find is whether your player of c...

Re: [FEATURE REQUEST] Ability to set ALL Matroska flags
Hmm... Okay, new feature request: Could MakeMKV be upgraded to output Matroska version 4 files? And before anyone comments, yes, I know these flags can be set using the MKVToolNix Header Editor. That's where I have been adding them, but my old PC takes forever to open an UltraHD movie in MKVToolNix,...

[FEATURE REQUEST] Ability to set ALL Matroska flags
At the moment, we're able to set the following Matroska flags in MakeMKV: d = "Default track" = yes f = "Forced track" = yes But could we also have the ability to set: c = "Commentary track" = yes e = "Track enabled" = yes h = "Hearing Impaired track"...

Re: Cutting out inappropriate scenes.
At first glance, I thought this thread may be a duplicate of a previous thread...
Cutting out inappropriate scenes
..but maybe not. The previous one might contain some useful information at any rate.
(Perhaps the two threads might even be merged?)

Re: Aliens 4K (Ultimate Collector Edition)
This thread has wandered WAY OFF TOPIC! I have this UltraHD set and there aren't any files that need to be joined (unless you're doing something with all the still images on the Bonus Disc). So, might I suggest that you start a new topic if you want to discuss appending files using MKVToolNix? Or be...
