Re: bad value? when installing on Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64
This is most surely NOT a problem with MakeMKV. I just had the same problem compiling a different program. Sorry to waste space...

Re: bad value? when installing on Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64
I just tried an older version 1.6.8 and this is what I get after I compiled bin first... oss gives me: /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.5.2/libstdc++.a(functexcept.o): relocation R_X86_64_32S against `vtable for std::bad_function_call' can not be used when making a share...

Re: bad value? when installing on Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64
I also have VirtualBox and Windows XP64 on my computer. If I can not get Linux to compile correctly (sad for me because I know it works well on Linux from past experiences), can I use it on the virtual XP64 on the same computer? Resources wise, I have 6 cores and 8gb of ram. I can allocate 4 or 5 co...

bad value? when installing on Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64
Hello. I have installed before but not on this current install. Does this error make any sense? /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.5.2/libstdc++.a(functexcept.o): relocation R_X86_64_32S against `vtable for std::bad_function_call' can not be used when making a shared objec...

Re: Does VC-1 videos present problems with Linux?
I found a potentially very good post for Ubuntu 64bit users... but my question is, "What to do after it is running?" How do I make makemkv better with VC-1 through this 32-bit chroot?

Re: Does VC-1 videos present problems with Linux?
Hi Bitjam2, 32-bit chroot. Interesting. I am in the process of realising I KNOW NOTHING! lol At least when it comes to making a 32bit chroot in a 64 bit environment. It is good I have time on my hands this week. I might learn something. Gentoo mentions 'stage 3' and I need to find out if that is a p...

Re: Does VC-1 videos present problems with Linux?
Thanks for the help. Sorry to ask something I should have found doing a little more research.

Re: Does VC-1 videos present problems with Linux?
I loaded Handbrake and found some info that might help: vc1 @ 0x2e66b60] Interlaced frames/fields support is not implemented Input #0, matroska,webm, from '/var/lib/mythtv/videos/David Gilmour 1 of 2.mkv': Duration: 01:10:32.03, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 512 kb/s Chapter #0.0: start 0.000000, end 70...
