Re: (Asmcom:) Pioneer UHD 4K Drives From £99.99, Cheap Shipping, Worldwide Service, Excellent Service!!!

The drive arrived almost before it had left. It has already done what I needed it to do. It's a big thumbs up from me. What a great service.
Thank you!

Re: (Asmcom:) Pioneer UHD 4K Drives From £99.99, Cheap Shipping, Worldwide Service, Excellent Service!!!

I need a UHD device to rip my 4k version of Star Trek the Motion Picture Special Longer Version (a seamless branching version of the Theatrical Cut). At this point, this is the only movie I want to rip (I just need the additional SLV scenes to do a hybrid edit with the SLV and Director's Edition). I...

Re: Star Trek 4Ks (1-4)

Thanks for the advice. I managed to back up all the extras and half of the movie (albeit in German) but it rejected one file. "Backup done but 1 files failed hash check" I cleaned the bluray disc again and I had another go with the latest version of MakeMKV but no luck. Ran into the same ...

Re: Star Trek 4Ks (1-4)

Thanks for the advice. I managed to back up all the extras and half of the movie (albeit in German) but it rejected one file. "Backup done but 1 files failed hash check" I can, at least port that into my Adobe Pro without the sound, which is something I did not think would work without fir...

Re: Star Trek 4Ks (1-4)

Thanks! That did seem to help. Now my issues are: Title #00254.mpls has length of 53 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped Error 'OS error - This device does not exist' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' at offset '14550300672' Error '...

Re: Star Trek 4Ks (1-4)

Hmmmm My TV broke so I gave up on my blu ray player and just bought an external drive. It plays dvds no problem but my Star Trek Blu ray just crashes my vlc. Tried running makmkv but got the following: MakeMKV v1.16.4 win(x64-release) started Using LibreDrive mode (v06.2 id=4ACF8047C3AC) Error 'Scsi...

Re: The program can't find any usable optical drives.

Frustrating. The Blu Ray player is discoverable by bluetooth but not in the network by USB nor by VLC nor Makemkv. The bluetooth connected to the device as an audio player but the blu ray player itself is not connected nor can I check properties or drivers. Very odd. On my older laptop I have a simi...

Re: Star Trek 4Ks (1-4)

Mine have arrived. Had a browse through TMP and it looks amazing. Never mind encryption, I have hit the snag that my laptop doesn't recognise my Blu-ray player... sigh. My ambition it to wait for the DE to come out next year and do a hybrid cut with the missing scenes from the theatrical cut, and mo...

Re: The program can't find any usable optical drives.

Hmm I have a similar problem. I thought a USB connection would allow my Windows 10 laptop to detect my Sony Blu-Ray player but I've got nothing. I can't detect the device at all. Am I missing something obvious?
