Re: Activation Key Doesn't Work For 1.7
The key expired just a little while ago, but has been working since March (with both 1.6.16 and 1.7.0). It looks like Mike needs to create a new one....

Re: 1.7.0 does not offer option to "backup" a DVD?
I actually did it accidentally. There are several commercial packages that contain both BD as the main movie, plus BD containing bonus video (notably the X-Men series). After I made backups of both the main material and the bonus material (all BD), I proceeded to do the same for Fargo, which contain...

Re: 1.7.0 does not offer option to "backup" a DVD?
Not true. Using 1.6.16, I did backups of both BD and DVD, as they were both in the same retail package. Using 1.7.0, I am unable to make backups of DVD material.

Nonetheless, I find the old behavior desirable.
I can't imagine that it would be difficult to restore it.
Nor can I imagine what it would hurt to restore it.

1.7.0 does not offer option to "backup" a DVD?
I just want the decrypted backup, not the titles repackaged. 1.6.16 gave me that option....
Please change this back to the old behavior!

Re: full disc back up or .mkv
Actually, using "backup" instead of "copy titles" could save a lot of space! For instance, the Avatar Collector's Edition 1st BD can show you 3 different versions of the full movie: 1 with no scenes deleted; 1 with *some* scenes deleted; the last with *more* scenes deleted (the ...

command-line arguments don't override preferences?
My command line (using 1.7.0 on Ububtu 11.04): time makemkvcon --decrypt '--messages=.MakeMKV/Harry Potter - 1 - Sorcerer's Stone.log' --debug=-same --noscan --cache=2048 -r backup disc:0 "makemkv/Harry Potter - 1 - Sorcerer's Stone" First, the --debug value is not overriding the one I hav...
