Re: Batch / Command Line Conversion of SUP to SRT
This is an old thread, but I JUST found it, so maybe this will be helpful to the next person who comes along as I did: I have the complete Nurse Jackie series which were taken from BD with PGS subtitles. I need subtitles, but really dislike the Hearing Impaired ones... [Cat Meows] or [Jimmy farts] a...

Re: "But the disk is perfect and plays in my DVD/BD player!"
During the the time between SlySoft and RedFox when my AnyDVD license key no longer worked, I found MakeMKV. After some testing of it, I registered MakeMKV and have never looked back . With the reasonably priced registration, I can rip both DVD *and* Blu-Ray without issue. I own a current RedFox lic...

Re: There's no link to "Purchase MakeMKV" except thru the forums
I just bought my license yesterday and noticed what you mention here, but the actual purchase address IS a more secure HTTPS. I started at http://www.makemkv.com/buy/ which is a standard link, BUT when you click either the link or click the button to buy, it takes you to the secure link for the actu...

Re: Eventual success flashing a March 2020 WH16NS40
I tried going straight to the drive specific firmware in the patched flasher, as well as Mike's first but I got the same error. Good news! If I hadn't found the post by MartyMcNuts to flash first to the different firmware, I have no doubt that days later I would still be spinning my wheels trying t...

Eventual success flashing a March 2020 WH16NS40
I just bought an LG WH16NS40-NS50 drive from Amazon (March 2020 - v1.04), along with a Vantec NexStar USB 3.0 enclosure (model NST-536S3-BK) and with some effort I was able to successfully flash for LibreDrive Support. Disclaimer: This is all new to me and there was plenty of fumbling around to get ...

Nah, that's fine - I just won't bother. I thought it would be helpful to others, but I guess not. As they say these days, 'whatever.'

Re: Title Movie Information: The Warlords
Perhaps I'm unique in that I only want the main movie from a Blu-Ray rip, but I thought that it might be helpful and save others time in determining WHICH is the main movie. I've successfully searched here for information on other titles, but didn't find main movie information on these. Once I found...

Re: Media Players, lets discuss!
It took a fair amount of research before I found the answer to .MKV files not playing in Media Center or MediaPortal and thought that the information might be helpful here. I use Windows Media Center when I don't know what I want to watch and need to browse posters, and MediaPortal when I DO know wh...

Re: how to create one coherent MKV-file ?
Ripping BDs results in 100plus GB output Ripping some BDs (Titans, Wall-E) results in 100plus GB output which takes 3-8 hours. The main film (~20 GB) exists 4 - 6 times with slightly different size. Viewing the videos shows no difference. How to select and create just one video title, the main one,...

Windows 7 Ultimate, 32bit: I'm new to playing blu-ray movies in this way, (have been just plugging the disks into a PS3), so I don't know if there are BETTER players out there... I'm pretty happy with Windows Media Player and the current Klite Codec Pack.
