I guess then because I want to burn my own data only, I'll buy a Pioneer as they are good for that.

If for some reason my life changes and I need to rip UHDs I'll just buy another drive that isn't Pioneer.

I was looking at this post and I'm pretty sure that it is UHD friendly.
