As you have tested Chromecast with Google TV, do you recommend it for FEL movies? Mostly I convert them to MEL and make profile 6 DV and watch it with webos plex app (my tv still supports profile 6). They look really nice but I don't know ...

Just a FYI...

The x700 and the Zidoo are not processing the RPU correctly when it plays trimmed samples (movie cuts/splits) but somehow decodes FEL correctly.

As far as i know
Profile 4 supports enhancement layer but base layer is SDR compatible
Profile 8 is HDR compatible but doesnt support enhancement layer

I have not a receiver so I have to stick to ac3/eac3 but eac3 + atmos is so much better than ac3/eac3.

Guys thanks for all the information you shared so far. I started to reading all of the pages for making dolby vision rips properly. But I need to ask you some questions before that. I have LG G1 and I'm gonna use native plex app. (I don't have shield or apple tv)
