Looking for some advice on troubleshooting and any potential ideas as to what might fix some strange behavior on a BU40N external slim drive when trying to rip DVDs and UHD discs.

Another satisfied customer of Billy's. Fast, easy convenient communication and shipping. Got the BU40N in the aluminum case - nice and small and pretty quiet for a disc drive on the desk. Great that it comes with both USB A and C. Processed a few Blu-rays and (1) UHD disc thus far without issue! :D
