Where is the discussion in the forums for the "easy way to copy the files to your hard drive manually without MakeMKV running and the fast and simple way to convert..." as a possible method for dealing with read errors?

Can I Change the Number of Reference Frames?

MakeMKV rips some of my bluray disks with Reference Frames=2, such as Source Code, Jumper, and Salt. Others, like Snow White and the Huntsman and Toy Story 3 rip with Reference Frames=4.

My LG BD670 player will not cleanly play the files where Reference Frames=2. I get colored blocking and glitches ...

I have the same reference frame problem on my LG BD670.

Did you ever come up with a convenient way to convert from MKV with 2 reference frames to MKV with 3 or 4 reference frames?

Also, what method do you use to check to see if a source bluray disk will produce an MKV with 2 reference ...

On my bluray disk (2-disk set), the Spanish subtitles for the Buzz Lightyear Spanish sections are hard coded (burned in) on the video track. What program do you recommend for reading a video file to see all of its settings? I have an MKV file that will play on WMP12 but will not stream through the WMP12 DLNA to the BD570.
