@Servocrow Thanks for your reply, but that's not what I asked for. I'm running a Linux machine, so I think DVDfab won't be of any help for me. And I could just copy the VOB's from the disc or make an ISO of it and play it with my favorite player :? I just found an error and wanted to share it here (...

The disc is nearly new. Never played it, or think even took it out of the box. But to be sure I cleaned it and tried it again - same result.
And I got the same error (open disc failed) with the Flying Circus Disc 2
Strange that the other 8 discs made no problems so far

Exactly called 400 years of Monty Python. It's the box shaped like the trojan rabbit... DVD number 8, Monty Pythons Flying Circus Disc 2 throws the error 'can't open disc'.
