Re: Dolby Vision and 1.15.3
Reboot the app - kill the app process and then start the app again - fixed the problem for me. It seems that the Plex Android client app caches playback setting of files previously played (that is my guess). Renaming the mkv file name also works. Thanks for this it's work for me I have a 2019 Shiel...

Re: The Original "UHD Friendly Drive" Supplier @ Your Service
Received my ASUS UHD friendly drive on Saturday (wicked fast, 2 day shipping!), installed it in my desktop, and promptly backed up 2 UHD discs without a single hiccup. Alex is as legit as they come, and the fact you are able to try the drive without payment in advance is what sold me in the first pl...

@Bitwize I personally am not "set" on anything regarding the situation you've described (It was another member who said, "MakeMKV is not designed to alter the streams in any way. It is designed to give you bit-for-bit perfect copies of your audio and video streams in an MKV container...

You might want to click on the following link to an earlier thread at this forum: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1265 (And, by all means, click on the links within the individual posts there) The latest popcorn hour A-200 firmware supports smooth VC-1 playback in MKV, but thi...

Re: HD-DVD Pulldown Removal
@Bitwize Hi! 1) What are you using to playback the MKVs you've created from your (VC-1) HD-DVDs? A popcorn hour A-200. 1080p/60, 1080p/24, 1080i/30, 720p/60, etc. all play smooth on the A-200. But unless the pulldown is removed from the VC-1 video track of an HD-DVD, the motion is craptastic ;) Add...

Re: HD-DVD Pulldown Removal
MakeMKV is not designed to alter the streams in any way. It is designed to give you bit-for-bit perfect copies of your audio and video streams in an MKV container. Removing pulldown on a VC-1 file does not affect the quality of the video at all. You still have a 100% 1:1 quality copy of the video (...

Feature Request: HD-DVD Pulldown Removal
I LOVE MakeMKV and will be happy to support this great product via my hard-earned cash :) Having said that, I strongly suggest the addition of pulldown removal for VC-1 HD-DVD's. In fact, I'd make it an automatic process. Without this removal, the resulting MKV playback is very jittery. MKV's create...
