A couple of questions...just wondering if any these modded drives will still allow me to simply play or read dvd, bluray and 4k disc or are they just dedicated to ripping? Another Question, are any of these drives able to play/rip region-locked discs, specifically Region B Bluray?? Thanks!

Thanks...Should I use the firmware file from "The all you need firmware pack" rather than the "MK Firmware pack"? Just wondering if the files are different even though the name is the same... The file I'm specifically looking at is the ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin

I'm assuming from the firmware date you do not need the enc box checked So first I would try asus 3.10mk So based on your suggestion this is what I think I need to do: 1.Download the MK Firmware pack and extract to local...
