First of all, I tried another 4k disc, and it played correctly, without any problems.
When, I put this disc, I hear only audio and I see no video. It's black screen.

I bought an LG BU40N without problems last May, but now that I go to the site my antivirus (Avast) blocks it and says that it's a fake e-shop used to scam people.

I unplugged the BD drive from the pc and plugged it into the laptop.
Same thing.
So, I'm not sure if it's windows related, at least in my case.

What do you mean by that? Did you do a format?
I have 180 UHDs and I just encountered my first UHD menu that doesn't play with VLC. I get to the menu screen, but no menu or buttons or anything.

It is best not to play any UHD discs directly. You will wear out your drive's laser fast! Better off ripping the complete disc to a decrypted folder backup and playing that.

There are a few BD/UHD discs with Screenpass. It is nothing new. Knives Out is one that comes to mind.
