Re: How to rip TV shows with multiple episodes per disc
Thanks, but I want to keep the files in MKV format, I just need to split them into individual episode files.

Re: How to rip TV shows with multiple episodes per disc
Thank you.
Some of my files are in MP4 format, is there any way to split those into individual episode files too?

How to rip TV shows with multiple episodes per disc
I'm trying to figure out why some discs I have get ripped as a single file (with multiple episodes in each file), vs
separate files for each episode.
The Black List
Star Trek TOS/TNG
are just a few.
How does one decide how the files are ripped/saved?
Thanks

I will try it overnight since the BRs take so long to process.

Yes, google doesn't tell you what SW is actually reliable and what isn't. That's why I like to hear about referrals from people who know better that knows works and what doesn't.

Imgburn doesn't run on MacOS. Can anyone recommend a program for Mac?
I havent been able to get makemkv to copy my br discs, too many erros are shown in makemkv (but the discs play normally). The MacOS version of makemkv has been very problematic for me.

New to ripping BR discs. How to make a BR image (ISO) ?
I use OSX (Big Sur) for ripping my DVDs. I've ripped many DVDs, I generally save them as .ISO files to have a master image, then use MakeMKV to make the MKVs from the ISOs. The MKVs go into my Plex server running on a Synology NAS. I have a small number of BluRay discs in my collection, but I've nev...

8GB .iso file yields many more GBs of MKV files
V1.16.3
I've created an IOS file of the Concert For Georg (Harrison) DVD Disc 1.
The iso file is 8.01GB on MacOS Big Sur.
When I run MakeMKV on this ISO file, approx 14GB of MKV files are generated.
How can this be?
Disc2 had no problems, the .ISO and MKV file sizes are what I would expect.

Re: 1.16.3 - can't enable decryption for VLC & Handbrake
What about VLC?
I use that more than handbrake.
Can we get a reply from the author on this issue?
>>newest UHD disk
I have no UHD disks, only DVD & BR (unless you consider BR to be UHD ??)

1.16.3 - can't enable decryption for VLC & Handbrake
I've just installed 1.16.3, again I can't enable decryption for the external applications VLC, Handbrake.
Why does this keep getting disabled when the program is updated?

I understand this. My DVDs have always been ripped to the Documents\DVDS folder, but I didn't have this issue prior to 1.16.x

Blade Runner The Final Cut
I've ripped nearly 70 DVDs for my Plex server, none of them gave me any problems until Blade Runner, The Final Cut. It's like none of the other DVDs have ANY copy protection. This is the first one I've encountered. I've also tried Mac DVDRipper Pro, it too is having problems reading the disc. (The d...
