Hello,
I was wondering if the newest version of MKVToolNix has the ability of performing a mild colour correction for a film? I saw in the V0.70 changelog that it had new colour abilities but am unsure what that means.
Any ideas? Thanks,
Ben.

Newbie question about MKV and Dolby Vision playback
Hi,
I don’t know a great deal about Dolby Vision and MKV files however I was told that it’s possible for MKV files to retain Dolby Vision functionality? Can I just ask, is anything specific required from the user end to ensure that files are created with this layer intact?
Thanks so much,
Ben.

Re: Possible to add / import an audio track to an MKV?
Hey Woodstock, Thanks for your help with this. I am currently working on combining The Thing as the UHD soundtrack has an audio problem, so I have grabbed the Arrow video release to try and import those audio tracks. I have kinda figured it out. I had to add a quite huge delay (750ms) to the audio s...

Re: Possible to add / import an audio track to an MKV?
I think I’ve been able to extract an audio track however I’ve had no luck in doing the next bit (marrying it up with the new video). Are there any good idiot guides out there on how to do this? I did a google search and tried to follow a couple but they were kinda vague on a few aspects.
Thanks! Ben.
Thanks! Ben.

Possible to add / import an audio track to an MKV?
Hi there,
Just wondered, I love the Batman 89 film however I hate what they did with the new sound FX. Is it possible to rip the UHD and then somehow substitute the old Blu Ray soundtrack into the MKV?

Keep trying. I had the same issue with American Psycho. Inserted it and attempted to decrypt about 15-20 times, eventually it worked.

Thanks for the reply.
"selected to keep them"? Now you have me worried... Is that something you specifically need to do?

MKV Playback and True HD Audio / DTS MA etc?
Hello, I am very new to all this so forgive my lack of knowledge. I playback all my MKVs currently on a Panasonic UHD disc player (DP-UB150) via USB. I dont currently have any kit to decode the HD audio, however I noticed that certain audio tracks do not play when going through the TV (I have to swi...

Re: Ripping a 4k uhd disk
Also, make sure you arent ripping unnessesary playlists which are often duplicates. If you see a file size which is exactly the same, choose the one with chapters listed and untick the one with no chapters.

Unable to open American Psycho (UK)
Hi, I have tried about 10 times now but I just cannot seem to open American Psycho (UK disc) on my WH16NS40. The drive tends to chug for 1-2 mins, then I get the "No Disc" message. I also had a problem with The Matrix however after inserting and taking the disc out and trying others I put ...

WH16NS40 - was working, now says "No Disc"
I have literally just flashed my WH16NS40 and began ripping films. I ripped Dunkirk and Lock Up absolutely fine. Then I inserted American Psycho and when the disc was trying to load instead MKV brought up loads of text. Sadly I dont have the exact text but there was dozens of lines of mentioning &qu...
