Good Time - UK disc - has test card at the start?
Hi there, Is there any way to drop the first chapter of a film when ripping? I ripped Good Time today and when playing it back it displays a colour chart and a long beeping sound, then a load of text jargon, then the actual film starts playing at chapter 2. Any way to drop that first chapter? Thanks.

Forgive the thread bump, but does anyone know if it’s possible to do minor colour corrections in this way?

Re: Dolby Vision question
I just used MakeMKV 1.17.3 and ripped my new Elvis 4K, scanned it into Kodi 21 Omega (Alpha1) on my nVidia Shield and it scanned in as a Dolby Vision title. This caught me by surprise, so I played it and sure enough, it's Dolby Vision. Not sure if Kodi 20 Nexus does this or not, but Kodi 21 Omega (...

DV FEL playback from MKVs?
Hi,
Is there any way to get true FEL DV playback from MKVs and an nVidia Shield?
I believe you will only get MEL playback and not the true DV playback as you would with a native disc and player?
Any ideas?
Thanks

WH16NS60 - Will it work via USB/SATA adapter?
Hi, I need to retire my PC for a bit and need to fall back to my laptop for general use. Can I remove my desktop sized WH16NS60 and plug it into a SATA/USB adapter and then plug it in to a USB port and then use on my laptop? I thought this was possible, then a I read a comment on the SATA adapter I ...

Re: Dolby Vision in UHD Backup?
What if you just select one of the titles when you do open disc? I just open disc > choose film title > remove non English language tracks > start rip.
Does that copy DV too?

Does the NAS drive have built-in encryption? Could it be that the files have been encrypted in some form>?

Re: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
I submitted my report of the UK version not working by email. I presume that’s the correct process? Email the dump generated by MakeMKV. Particulars are detailed in the UHD FAQ (link below). Thanks, done that. I rarely buy discs at release so I’ve never encountered this issue before. How does the “...
