Re: SDFtool Flasher
Most likely you are not the most technical savvy person. I suggest to take the drive out of the USB enclosure and connect it directly to the SATA port in your PC and try the flash. Maybe you have some friend who could assist you doing that. No its fine thanks, I built my PC, I've just never heard o...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
You need to flash 1.04 MK with enc check first. Only then you can downgrade to 1.03 (enc unchecked!). But literally nothing happens when I click 'Start'? I select my drive, pick 1.04 from the mk firmware folder, make sure WRITE firmware is selected, checked enc? and when I click start nothing happe...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Hi guys, I've just bought a BU40N drive which has firmware v1.04. I'm trying to flash it to 1.03mk using SDFtool flasher but nothing happens when I click start? I select my drive, leave it on 'Write Firmware', select firmware 1.03, click start and nothing happens, no error messages, nothing, and the...

Re: Looking for an external blu ray drive
I think I may have jumped the gun....my enclosure arrived and it seems to now be working, although I've only got one disc to hand (Seven Worlds One Planet).
It's on firmware v1.04, is this ok or will it need flashing? And if so how do I do that?

Looking for an external blu ray drive
Hi guys,
I'm looking to replace my old Corsair 200r case and am looking at something without a 5.25" drive as my need for a blu ray drive is decreasing, but I'd still like to have the option.
Can anyone recommend an external blu ray reader for use with MakeMKV? Ideally is would be usb powered.
