Is it worth me trying the Recover option in SDFtool? If I consider returning it, is there a way that I can make the drive look like I've not tried to flash the firmware? i.e. Can I flash with the original 1.05 firmware and if so, where can I get the correct file? I wish I had tested a non UHD drive ...

Hi, I'm completely new to this, but wanted to try ripping some UHD discs, so I bought a LG WH14NS40 drive from Amazon UK which came from the US I think with 1.05 firmware. I used the Sdftool Flasher First flashed with \mk-firmware-pack-20200720\MK\HL-DT-ST\WH14NS40-NS50\HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH14NS40-NS50-...
