i had contacted LG also and thought i would get somewhere with them but they now are not replying That is because you “illegally” flashed your drive through a flashing method and with firmware that is 100% not supported officially by LG. i thought from reading other posts on here that the sdftool was a newer way of being able to flash the drive to the older version without having to use dos? im on windows 10 so dos isnt really going to be possible. i thought from reading the messages on here it was going to be straight forward i had...

it didnt seem to work though
SDftool did say it was done successfully, but the firmware for the drive is still showing 1.05 instead of 1.01?
