You can work cautious with toothpaste and sand the disc with it. From the inner to the outer, not in circles. Use it on the single scratches, not on the complete disc at all. After this wash the disc also with liquid soap and warm water. Dry with a paper towel. Wipe with a microfiber cloth. Perhaps ...

Or which front has the drive? Two or three symbols on the right? It doesn't have to be, but it can be a clue.
