Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Please help! I have a slim Pioneer UD03 with platform type = RS8510. Is this drive flashable for playing/ripping UHD discs? Whih .bin file should I get and can I use SDFTool to flash because the SDFTool says I am not on the right platform. Much appreciated Check it there ... ---> https://forum.make...

Re: Buffalo BRXL-PT6U2VB firmware options
No, I don't think so, the SN off the drive is the same like on the package.
I've informed my friend, he have to communicate this with the seller.
Thanks at this point, Coopervid!

Re: Buffalo BRXL-PT6U2VB firmware options
Naah, I think I have found the problem. The SN which is shown with MakeMKV is another like on the drive / on the package.
Could I have noticed earlier...
Bad luck, I think.
Could it be that the former owner had made flashing games?!

Re: Buffalo BRXL-PT6U2VB firmware options
I respectively a friend have an issue with a BRXL-PT6U2VB. It's declared as a UHD 4K Drive and I wanted to flash it for him to 1.03MK but the flasher says it's no MT1959 and MakeMKV shows this: Laufwerksinformation OS-Gerätename: F: Produzent: BUFFALO Produkt: Optical Drive Revision: 1.00 Serienumm...

Re: ASUS BW-16D1X-U - Flashable?
Yes, follow the guide. You can use the ASUS 3.10MK or, without sleep bug and better performance with 3-layer discs, the LG WH16NS60 1.02MK.

Re: ASUS_BW-16D1HT question
Oh, I'm sorry, in hurry I didn't seen some details.
Yeah, first post your drive information with MakeMKV. Your drive must have the technical platform MT1959 and not MT1939.

Re: ASUS_BW-16D1HT question
Try the WH16NS60 1.02MK with the HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936.bin.
If you're not lucky you're free to test another.

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Hey, I just wanted to clarify (I don't want to read through 90+ pages of replies, sorry). I just bought the ASUS drive to replace my failing LG 14-40 (purchased and flashed back in 2019?). The pinned post says "If your desktop drive has encrypted firmware, flash WH16NS60 1.02-MK first, then yo...

Re: ASUS_BW-16D1HT question
You can stay, ripping and burning will be fine. But you'll have the sleep bug. You can avoid by flashing to WH16NS60 1.02MK. Ripping and burning will also be fine and no bug.

Re: BDR-XD07B UHD Flash
 Yeah, you're right. Paint it black could be a solution also  Thanks for response. Yes, the BDR-XD07TUHD is ready for go with MakeMKV of course. Then I'll take the black drive and sell the silver one. Edit: Or I'll keep the silver one, the black one makes strange whirring noises when r...

Re: BDR-XD07B UHD Flash
Question about comparing firmware for this drive: I've a (silver) BDR-XD07TS flashed to a BDR-XD07U 1.04. Now, a friend of mine will sell his BDR-XD07TUHD (fine black, it's tasting better for my eyes than my silver one) but it has firmware BDR-XD07U with version 1.03. Which firmware version is bette...
