Sorry to resurrect this thread, I stumbled on it while trying to figure out this error.

Just wanted to report this still happens, I had never seen it until this afternoon when I was ripping a stack of Criterion discs. I started the I Am Curious Boxed Set Yellow Disc and it came up.

Disc is clean ...

Yes, it happens all the time... either open the program and then quit out OR open the program make an MKV then quit.

To start, great program, always works for me with no major problems. Going to register very soon.

I think I found a strange little bug, this happens every time I use it.

Open makemkv.exe
Watching Process Explorer: I see that makemkv.exe spawns, then shortly thereafter makemkvcon64.exe spawns ...
