clearer logging?
I find that the logs don't make it obvious in all cases which title a given group of messages refers to. In particular there are no "success" messages on start or end of each title so if you have non-fatal (preventing save) errors/warnings on a given title in a series of successful titles ...

That's interesting. I assume that if you tried to make a decrypted backup, you'd get the same fatal error/crash. I also figured the same thing and so didn't bother to test making a decrypted backup. But if it is useful I can of course test this case as well. Only one title had the 457 in the segmen...

I don't know why it is crashing for you I appreciate the suggestions. I've tried the same disc with 3 different drives now all of them have the same fatal error/crash on this blu-ray disc. Re: Are AV synchronization issues a problem?
This is a naming issue. The 1.14.7 inserts this before printing "the subtitle track XXX turned to be empty and was removed", so you know what file this message is about. Now it is obviously confusing... Would like to have confidence in my makemkv rips and not have surprise audio drops dis...

A related question...while trying to figure out which title on the disc is repeatably causing this issue...I noticed that I really don't understand the title "added or skipped" log. See in the screenshot. You will see that makemkv is currently processing a title that was supposedly going t...

Another debug log trying the same disc with a different physical drive. Same thing. Don't have problem this problem with other discs (ever so far). Have tried cleaning the disc multiple times. So I suspect this is a disc authoring/production issue or an unhandled case on makemkv's end. I do find it ...

Getting this error trying to rip Lost Season 5, Disc 5 (German Blu-Ray). Haven't had this issue with any other discs in this series. Was happening on the v1.14.x version of MakeMKV I was running. Upgraded to v1.15.4 darwin(x64-release) and the same thing is happening. https://imgur.com/jwzeIaG.png T...
