By the way, Handbrake recognizes the VIDEO_TS folder contents and will transcode it.

But I would love to avoid that time consuming process with MakeMKV.

I have a few VIDEO_TS folders from Usenet that aren't recognized by MakeMKV. It won't even scan them. The file dialog box is simply grayed out when I navigate into any of the VIDEO_TS folders. It's as if MakeMKV doesn't think there's content there.... but there is.

I have had this happen to me a few times recently.

It's frustrating to not have audio on the first pass. Or having to habitually check that audio is enabled.

Why would the software be programmed to not rip any audio, just because there isn't an audio track in the preferred language?
